Megaloptera is the order of dobsonflies, fishflies and alderflies. As of 2024, 33 species of Megaloptera have been observed in iNaturalist in the US and 209 throughout the world. There are just two families in this order.

Neuroptera is the order of lacewings and ant lions. As of 2024, 214 species of Neuroptera have been observed in iNaturalist in the US and 1,219 throughout the world.
